BOXLY allows users to:

• photograph boxes and storage locations
• record and organize physical items
• use AI to recognize objects in photos
• keep a digital inventory of their belongings
• search where physical items are stored
• ask an AI assistant questions like “Where are my sunglasses?”

We may process the following information:

• your name
• email address
• authentication data
• photos you upload
• information about your boxes
• information about your items
• locations you enter yourself
• names of rooms, shelves and boxes
• notes you add
• AI-generated tags and descriptions
• search queries
• basic technical and security information

You choose which photos you upload. Photos may contain private rooms and personal items.

We recommend that you do not unnecessarily photograph:

• passwords
• credit card information
• government IDs
• medical documents
• confidential documents
• other especially sensitive data

BOXLY uses artificial intelligence to:

• analyze photos
• recognize objects
• generate tags and categories
• answer questions about your inventory

AI can make mistakes, and results are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. The AI assistant is designed to answer from your inventory data rather than invent locations for your items.

You retain ownership of your:

• photos
• inventory data
• notes
• locations
• other content you upload

BOXLY receives only a limited right to process that data as needed to provide the functionality of the application.

BOXLY does not sell users' personal data or private inventory data to advertisers.

BOXLY may use third-party service providers for:

• hosting
• database
• authentication
• cloud storage
• AI processing
• email
• analytics and error monitoring
• payments

If you purchase a paid plan, payments may be processed by Paddle or another clearly indicated payment provider. When a payment provider processes your payment, BOXLY does not directly store your full payment card details.

We keep your data while your account is active, or as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.

You can request deletion of your account and your data at any time by contacting us at support@myboxgenius.app.

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• access your data
• correct your data
• request deletion
• restrict processing
• object to processing
• data portability
• withdraw consent where applicable

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

BOXLY is not intended for users under 18 years of age.
